| Explanation | This vase originally belonged to Kanematsu and Masa Matsumoto who ran a pottery shop in Yamazato-machi when they were killed by the atomic bomb on the 9th August 1945. This vase was found in their air-raid shelter and was used as a substitute for an urn to contain their remains. | ||
