This is a memento of Mr. Yutaka Tsujino (died March 1982). Mr. Tsujino was exposed to the bomb 1.6km from the hypocenter whilst conducting military drills as a teacher in the gymnasium at the Nagasaki Normal School in Ieno-go (present day Bunkyo-machi). Despite his own survival, all six members of Mr. Tsujino’s family instantaneously died at their home in Matsuyama-machi near the hypocenter.
