Norimasa Hayashi, a fourth grade student of Keiho Junior High School Class 3, was wearing this armband when he died in the bombing whilst mobilized as a laborer at Mitsubishi Nagasaki Steel Works No. 3 Plant in Takenokubo-machi. The letters on this armband were written by him.
