Explanation

Ms. Egashira was exposed to the atomic bomb in the staff room at Shiroyama Elementary School, about 500 meters from the hypocenter. She threw herself onto the floor with the flash of the explosion, but glass splinters pierced back as though sewing her jacket to her flesh.
