Explanation

At the time of the bombing, the donor was a sixth grade elementary school student who lived in Isahaya. The donor’s father, Inahiko, was a civil servant mobilized to work for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. He was seriously injured in the bombing and taken back to Isahaya by truck. This mirror was found in the stretcher on the way back to Isahaya. The mirror was warped due to exposure to either the heat rays or the blast.
