The donor’s aunt had a shop in Iwakawa-machi. After the atomic bombing, when her daughter came home, the area was completely burnt-out. Searching the area where the family house had been, she found some remains of bones. As it was just a small amount, she returned to the site again later on when she found this cooking pot and brought it back with her.
